The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Björn Bark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Hedman in the 4th minute of the match. Mikael Beckström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Bark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Christian Borre scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasper Persson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Erik Hedman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Bark having to interfere. In the 17th minute Sven-Erik Hedman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Bark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Erik Hedman in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Bark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute IFK Hisingen were awarded a corner. Gottfrid Hök went to the cornerflag to take it. Vidar Ekelund was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Palmquist during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to IFK Hisingen getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Eric Palmquist hit a great ball. After 31 minutes of play, IFK Hisingen's Anders Göransson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Bark was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jens-Erik Rönn hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, one of IFK Hisingen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for IFK Hisingen. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, FC Noll Koll's Leonard Sjöberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kasper Persson. Sven-Erik Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Göransson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Björn Bark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Hisingen. Björn Bark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Hedman in the 44th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, FC Noll Koll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Borre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anders Göransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Björn Bark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Sven-Erik Hedman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Hisingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Erik Hedman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Erik Hedman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Björn Bark skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sven-Erik Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Noll Koll's Björn Bark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FC Noll Koll from getting a goal against them. After 66 minutes of play, FC Noll Koll's Mikael Beckström made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kasper Persson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Erik Hedman during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mikael Beckström might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasper Persson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikael Beckström ran back to his position shaking his head. Eric Palmquist kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Noll Koll's zone, Sven-Erik Hedman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Bark came out of the goal and Sven-Erik Hedman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Rickard Vassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IFK Hisingen's Eric Palmquist got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Erik Hedman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Beckström took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasper Persson. Kasper Persson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Sven-Erik Hedman in the 99thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Björn Bark, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Noll Koll could leave the field as winners, despite IFK Hisingen having more of the ball for most of the match.
