Spectators: 7568 (Terracing: 5677, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Charlie Andersson took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Skå FF's Stig-Åke Wikander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronny Tiger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Vennerlund in the 6th minute of play forced The Grumps's goalkeeper Ronny Tiger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gösta Lind came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by The Grumps's Michael Ström. But to his dismay, Michael Ström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Sven-Erik Smed was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Grumps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skå FF the free kick. A collision led to The Grumps getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sven-Erik Smed hit a great ball. Ronny Tiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Vennerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Gösta Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Matthias Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Skå FF's zone, Charlie Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Lind came out of the goal and Charlie Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronny Tiger made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Stig-Åke Wikander sent off a good shot on target. Skå FF's Gösta Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Stinson in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Skå FF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Stig Torsberg hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Skå FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Grumps:s goal. Gösta Lind had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Charlie Andersson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 35th minute, Michael Ström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Grumps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 40th minute, Stig Torsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Skå FF's Ivan Högberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Stig Torsberg fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skå FF's protests and gave Stig Torsberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Stig Torsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half The Grumps were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Ove Vennerlund to make the kick off. Ronny Tiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Vennerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 63rd match minute, The Grumps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Smed to maneuver through the defense. Yngve Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Ronny Tiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Vennerlund in the 67th minute of the match. Gösta Lind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Andersson in the 78th minute. Gösta Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Käller in the 86th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded The Grumps left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skå FF.
