With 15 minutes on the clock, Arvid Eklund commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 14th minute, one of Rillys Bodega:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rillys Bodega. Per-Åke Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josef Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Kielstedt in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Oskar Blomqvist made a kick off. Sven-Oskar Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match, Folke Kielstedt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Josef Billberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Josef Billberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josef Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Kielstedt in the 65th minute of play. Thomas Ekberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josef Billberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvald Norberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 71 minute of play. Josef Billberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Kielstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Young Boys Häggnäset's Erik Fristedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Blomqvist in the 77th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rillys Bodega fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Rillys Bodega's Josef Billberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Rillys Bodega from getting a goal against them. Josef Billberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Folke Kielstedt in the 90th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Rillys Bodega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Young Boys Häggnäset players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
