The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jörgen Åberg hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Brandt in the 12th minute of play forced Brunflo's goalkeeper Douglas Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rooster Football Academy getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Erland Hjeltman hit a great ball. The supporters of Brunflo booed when Rooster Football Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Hjeltman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Brandt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Fred Strömberg made a precise shot to the right of Douglas Löfgren. Brunflo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Baltasar Euloxu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rooster Football Academy's Lars-Erik Hägglund. Lars-Erik Hägglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Erland Hjeltman in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brunflo's Jörgen Eliasson. Lars-Erik Hägglund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltasar Euloxu went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Fred Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Löfgren having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Waller made a kick off. Rooster Football Academy's Fred Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douglas Löfgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Brandt in the 58th minute of play. Jörgen Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Douglas Löfgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Hugo Waller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Douglas Löfgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Marcus Bolander fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rooster Football Academy's protests and gave Marcus Bolander a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Rooster Football Academy got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Bolander. Baltasar Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Styrbjörn Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Douglas Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Brunflo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
