Leif Burman's late challenge caught a Åre IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Karl-Oskar Alebäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åre IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Oskar Alebäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sture Kvarnström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rutger Göransson during the 18th minute. In the 47th minute, Stig-Arne Törnqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Autofolia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Åre IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Autofolia FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Niklas Svartengren made the kick off in the second half. Wiktor Boklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Kvarnström having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Dan Brandin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Andreas Hedberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Håkan Kiempe made a great header on Åre IK's corner, it was just that Autofolia FC's Sture Kvarnström managed to reach the ball for a save. That made the score 0-3 after 82 minutes of play. 86 minutes into the match, Autofolia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Boklund came free, but Sture Kvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Niklas Svartengren, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Verner Tomasson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Harry Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Autofolia FC booed when Åre IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Fernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils-Erik Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Åre IK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Autofolia FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Autofolia FC.
