After 39 minutes, Egon Alegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seed and the Latikberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sven-Erik Käller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Latikberg's Mats Asplund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Latikberg from getting a goal against them.
