Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Åke Falck made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Selånger FK. Överlida's Bernt Julin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Falck in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Överlida's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Jugănaru came free, but Bernt Julin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Charles Biörling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelian Jugănaru scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernt Julin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Överlida's Stefan Snäll managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stelian Jugănaru in the 24 minute of the game. Per Jonasson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Stelian Jugănaru came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Selånger FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Jugănaru couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Stelian Jugănaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Julin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Falck hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Överlida getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Per Jonasson hit a great ball. Bernt Julin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Falck in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Selånger FK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Stig Tunander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alfons Ekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Kim Lindholm threw the ball into play from the sideline. Överlida's Karl Beck quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Stefan Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Överlida's Per Jonasson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Överlida got a freekick which was hit by Per Jonasson. With an all-out effort, Selånger FK's Bernt Julin threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stelian Jugănaru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Överlida's Bernt Julin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Överlida from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Stelian Jugănaru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernt Julin. The goal made the score 0-4. After a rather tough play, Överlida's Stig Tunander got a free kick in the 76th minute. Per Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Åke Falck scored 0-5 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernt Julin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Åke Falck in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernt Julin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Överlida's Bernt Julin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Jugănaru in the 84th minute of play.
