Krister Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Vennerlund in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lajksjöberg's Leonard Hellsing got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lajksjöberg's zone, Valter Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krister Fredriksson came out of the goal and Valter Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Börje Vennerlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Krister Fredriksson firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Säffle FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lajksjöberg.
