Lokes Lakejer IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rasmus Björkkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaf Dusett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Rickard Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Trulsson in the 17th minute of play. Rasmus Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Dusett having to interfere. When Jörn Trulsson came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC Mattsson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörn Trulsson couldn't finish the play. Leif Skräddare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustaf Dusett having to make a save. FC Mattsson's Gustaf Dusett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Björkkvist in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th minute, Wiktor Björck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Elof Nässén led 39 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. FC Mattsson's Gustaf Dusett became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Jörn Trulsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rasmus Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rasmus Björkkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alexander Tholsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rickard Thorsberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jörn Trulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mattsson's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Trulsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Thorsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörn Trulsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rickard Thorsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörn Trulsson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leif Skräddare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiktor Björck kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Leif Skräddare struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gustaf Dusett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokes Lakejer IK. Gustaf Dusett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Björkkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Rasmus Björkkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaf Dusett was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Alex Westerberg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute of the match Elof Nässén shot from a long distance. After 77 minutes, Rasmus Björkkvist made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Mattsson's Gustaf Dusett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Rickard Thorsberg managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when FC Mattsson's Jörn Trulsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexander Tholsson had several of the Lokes Lakejer IK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Rickard Thorsberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lokes Lakejer IK's Rickard Thorsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Lokes Lakejer IK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tholsson in the 93rd minute of play forced Lokes Lakejer IK's goalkeeper Rickard Thorsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lokes Lakejer IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Mattsson had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
