Per-Oskar Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of IzmirFK booed when Stora Blå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Alkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stora Blå's zone, Peter Vollander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Nordin came out of the goal and Peter Vollander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunnar Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Andersson in the 62nd minute of the match. IzmirFK's William Andersson got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Andersson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gunnar Nordin firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 96 minutes Stora Blå's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Vollander who took care of the corner kick. IzmirFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
