Viggo Kjellqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Håkan Skager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makhaon Patrianakos in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Makhaon Patrianakos sped through Junselevallen IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Håkan Skager. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Makhaon Patrianakos was the one to do the kick off. If Makhaon Patrianakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eric Mårtensson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. During the 72nd minute of the match Eric Mårtensson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eric Mårtensson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
