Gunnar Forss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, AIK-BÄST I STAN's goalkeeper Gunnar Forss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Nyström. Kullavik's Tom Alströmmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Månsson in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Lindberg in the 14th minute of play forced AIK-BÄST I STAN's goalkeeper Gunnar Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Nyström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunnar Forss. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Gunnar Forss made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Bernt Andreasson sent off a good shot on target. If Kurt Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Forss made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Thomas Nyström sent off a good shot on target. Tom Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Månsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Alströmmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Månsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gunnar Forss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Nyström in the 40th minute of the match. Calle Lindberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gunnar Forss came out and tried to block the shot, but Calle Lindberg slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dag Månsson to make the kick off. Gunnar Forss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Vassenius's late challenge caught a Kullavik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Vassenius helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AIK-BÄST I STAN getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Adrian Vassenius hit a great ball. Gunnar Forss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Helander, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Lindberg in the 61st minute of play forced AIK-BÄST I STAN's goalkeeper Gunnar Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Åke Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Tom Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Månsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Dag Månsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Alströmmer. Kullavik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dag Månsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 71 played minutes Kullavik got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Elg. Gunnar Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Nyström in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dag Månsson got free with Tom Alströmmer in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, AIK-BÄST I STAN's Arvid Ekeberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Tom Alströmmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dag Månsson in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the game, Thomas Nyström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Gunnar Forss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, AIK-BÄST I STAN's Jesper Alströmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Alströmmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, AIK-BÄST I STAN's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Lindberg came free, but Gunnar Forss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Calle Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kullavik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Kullavik were the better team. Kullavik's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
