With a left leg Christian Nordlund saved Sidensjö from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Vollander in the 5th minute of play forced Helsingborgs IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigvard Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Vollander in the 6th minute of play. Helsingborgs IF's Axel Andersson got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Nordlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigvard Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sigvard Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Ahlén in the 24th minute of the match. Sigvard Albohm came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Sidensjö's Konrad Hasselqvist. But to his dismay, Konrad Hasselqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Sidensjö's Olle Bammerman got a free kick in the 29th minute. Sigvard Albohm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konrad Hasselqvist's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Helsingborgs IF's Sigvard Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ahlén in the 35th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Ahlén made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Helsingborgs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ahlén came free, but Sigvard Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Axel Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Axel Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helsingborgs IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Andersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Sidensjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sidensjö would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
