Magne Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Bergqvist in the 19th minute of play. Henning Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Karl-Erik Fanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Widberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Leonard Skytt might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Erik Fanström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonard Skytt ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Edmund Bergqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Vallgren. Bajen Fans FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Bergqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Karl-Erik Fanström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmund Bergqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Alf Ivarsson scored 1-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Fanström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Ingvar Erserman could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Magne Vallgren however easily saved by the left post. Henning Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Fanström having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Bajen Fans FC's goalkeeper Magne Vallgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Erserman. In the 76th match minute, Sjuntorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Torstensson to maneuver through the defense. Bajen Fans FC's Leonard Skytt got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
