Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gnarp FF's Frans Norberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carl Kellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Gnarp FF's Ivar Backlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Erik Fanström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute Edmund Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Backlund struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Karl-Erik Fanström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gnarp FF. In the 14th minute, Jonatan Hernström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, Gnarp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Backlund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Backlund in the 23rd minute of play forced Sjuntorp's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Fanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sjuntorp's zone, Ivar Backlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Erik Fanström came out of the goal and Ivar Backlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Norberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Sjuntorp's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Fanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Ingvar Erserman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sjuntorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 41stth minute of the game Edmund Bergqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnarp FF's Ralf Pihl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Erik Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Frans Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnarp FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Frans Norberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Fanström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmund Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Pihl having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edmund Bergqvist made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sjuntorp's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Norberg came free, but Karl-Erik Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralf Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Bergqvist in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Sjuntorp's Karl-Erik Fanström got control of the ball when Ivar Backlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sjuntorp booed when Gnarp FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Rudberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frans Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmund Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Pihl having to interfere. Gnarp FF's Ralf Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Bergqvist in the 94th minute of play. Ivar Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sjuntorp's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
