Torsten Alebom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Charles Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Sălcudeanu's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Torsten Alebom hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Klågerup IK's Sven-Ove Kullander got a free kick in the 14th minute. Charles Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Sălcudeanu went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the game, Åke Löfdahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Stefan Björk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kjell Dahlgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Björk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Alebom in the 26th minute of the match. If Allan Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, 1891 Djurgården's Stefan Björk got control of the ball when Åke Löfdahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Eric Sălcudeanu sped through Klågerup IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles Engström. Charles Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Sălcudeanu went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Charles Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Eric Sălcudeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klågerup IK's Charles Engström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of 1891 Djurgården booed when Klågerup IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Lenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Klågerup IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1891 Djurgården were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
