After 6 minutes of play, Torslanda FC's Edgar Finsberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Levander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Levander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Levander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakarias Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Edgar Finsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Thomas Levander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IFK EMOU's Thomas Levander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Finsberg in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magnus Stålberg during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to IFK EMOU getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Magnus Stålberg hit a great ball. The supporters of Torslanda FC booed when IFK EMOU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Arne Tingelholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 21 minutes on the clock, Joacim Österberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, IFK EMOU's Niclas Elg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valdo Gala. The tension between the Torslanda FC and the IFK EMOU players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Torslanda FC got a freekick which was hit by Tage Ekblom. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Finsberg made a kick off. Thomas Levander made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Uno Hansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Edgar Finsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torslanda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With his leg Thomas Levander managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Torslanda FC's Edgar Finsberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thomas Levander made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tage Ekblom sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Torslanda FC's Tage Ekblom got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Uno Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torslanda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uno Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Finsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Thomas Levander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. One of IFK EMOU:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Torslanda FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Thomas Levander, was totally fooled by Torslanda FC's Stig-Arne Jonasson, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. IFK EMOU's Thomas Levander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save IFK EMOU from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Ekblom in the 95th minute of play forced IFK EMOU's goalkeeper Thomas Levander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torslanda FC's Edgar Finsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
