The Lyrestad fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Lyrestad's Harry Ek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Harry Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jörgen Hagberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Botvidsson's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Dahlberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Bagis fotbolls klubb's goalkeeper Jörgen Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Hagberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Botvidsson's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Harry Ek kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 49 minutes of play, Lyrestad's Harry Ek made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörgen Hagberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Lyrestad were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Ek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bagis fotbolls klubb's Jörgen Hagberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bagis fotbolls klubb from getting a goal against them. Harry Ek in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jörgen Hagberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Lyrestad. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Axel Björnsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jörgen Hagberg.
