Hubert Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hobbyplan IF's Hjalmar Hedvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Hobbyplan IF from getting a goal against them. Markus Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Giöck in the 23rd minute of play. Hjalmar Hedvall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Bruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper, Hjalmar Hedvall, was totally fooled by Tåbira IK's George Berglund, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magnus Malmberg was the one to do the kick off.
