The supporters of Hajom BK booed when Lekeryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Björnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Arne Deckbergh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Ingemarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Alfons Ingemarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Arne Deckbergh. Hajom BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfons Ingemarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. August Aronsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Vincent Runeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Hajom BK's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Petersson came free, but Stig-Arne Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Arne Deckbergh came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Lekeryd's Alfons Ingemarsson. But to his dismay, Alfons Ingemarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Henrik Thorsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Hajom BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Ingemarsson came free, but Stig-Arne Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rolf Björnsson fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lekeryd's protests and gave Rolf Björnsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lekeryd getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rolf Björnsson hit a great ball. Stig-Arne Deckbergh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Ingemarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Lekeryd's Alfons Ingemarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Deckbergh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Lekeryd's Rolf Björnsson got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfons Ingemarsson in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig-Arne Deckbergh saved Hajom BK from getting behind. Stig-Arne Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Ingemarsson in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Lekeryd were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfons Ingemarsson to make the kick off. Stig-Arne Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Ingemarsson in the 51st minute of play. Stig-Arne Deckbergh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Ingemarsson in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfons Ingemarsson got free with Stig-Arne Deckbergh in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfons Ingemarsson in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stig-Arne Deckbergh, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 69th minute, Elof Kjellqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute August Aronsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincent Runeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Aronsson in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Hajom BK's Stig-Arne Deckbergh got control of the ball when Alfons Ingemarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig-Arne Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Ingemarsson in the 77th minute of the match. August Aronsson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Hajom BK's Stig-Arne Deckbergh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Pålsson in the 86th minute of play. Stig-Arne Deckbergh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Ingemarsson in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Ludvig Stensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Lekeryd could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hajom BK throughout the match.
