Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tommy Snell started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Dennis Jonsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ucklum IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Dennis Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfons Lindgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Paul Vacker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfons Lindgrens short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Paul Vacker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paul Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Jonsson in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Korsberga booed when Ucklum IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Beneth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Ucklum IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Beneth to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Korsberga's Egil Håkansson got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Jonsson in the 47th minute of play forced Korsberga's goalkeeper Paul Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dennis Jonsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Paul Vacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Alfons Lindgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ucklum IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 59 minutes into the match, Korsberga's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Jonsson came free, but Paul Vacker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64th play minutes Dennis Jonsson shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Paul Vacker and just under the crossbar into goal. 67 minutes into the match, Cevdet Özalp notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ucklum IF's Kjell Odin. Kjell Odin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ucklum IF made a substitution. Vilgot Caspersson replaced Max Falck. With a little luck, Ucklum IF's Kjell Odin got control of the ball when Cevdet Özalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Tommy Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korsberga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Snell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ucklum IF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Melker Berglund hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Korsberga's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Jonsson came free, but Paul Vacker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Dennis Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Vacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Ucklum IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
