Stenhamra's Sven-Arne Edström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Åhman in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Stenhamra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Brenner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Hägglund's late challenge caught a Mean Machine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Hägglund helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stenhamra's Peter Hägglund got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Berglund in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Edström saved Stenhamra from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torsten Berglund in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Edström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olof Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Olof Bäcklin came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Stenhamra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Bäcklin couldn't finish the play. When Mean Machine's Torsten Berglund in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Torsten Berglund in the 63rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Sven-Arne Edström kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Torsten Berglunds short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Sven-Arne Edström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Stenhamra's Sven-Arne Edström got control of the ball when Torsten Berglund tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Torsten Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Stenhamra's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Edström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Lindström. The Stenhamra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mean Machine were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
