The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Joseph Håkansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Brandstation's Niclas Sundberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Håkansson in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niclas Sundberg saved FC Brandstation from getting behind. A collision led to FC Brandstation getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ximun Domingo hit a great ball. Joseph Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Bo-Erik Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Iraido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenny Björk during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, FC Zulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Björk to maneuver through the defense. Lasse Palm made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Attila Henter sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, FC Brandstation's Marc Arvidsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lasse Palm. Lasse Palm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Brandstation's Marc Arvidsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lasse Palm. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Joseph Håkansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Brandstation's Niclas Sundberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Joseph Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zulu's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Håkansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Marc Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Arvidsson's late challenge caught a FC Zulu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marc Arvidsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Zulu booed when FC Brandstation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joseph Håkansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joseph Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Håkansson got free with Niclas Sundberg in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lasse Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Henter in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Brandstation's Ximun Domingo got a free kick in the 60th minute. The supporters of FC Zulu booed when FC Brandstation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Blomqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niclas Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Persson in the 63rd minute of play. Niclas Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Attila Henter didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. FC Zulu's Kenny Björk suffered a sprained foot after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 97 minutes, Dario Iraido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Brandstation and the FC Zulu players grew even worse after the yellow card.
