The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Hagström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vrigstad BF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alex Hagström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Hagström in the 6th minute of play forced Kaos & Oordning's goalkeeper Olov Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kaos & Oordning's Dag Hansson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ove Käcker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melker Alkvist got free with Arne Molin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Jan Engström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Olov Lidberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Hagström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Lidberg having to interfere. Christer Granström charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Granström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurt Häger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Lidberg having to interfere. Melker Alkvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne Molin firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Melker Alkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Molin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 38th minute, Jan Engström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vrigstad BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petter Melberg made a kick off. Jan Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Oskar Gernberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Arne Molin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Lidberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Engström's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Vrigstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Hansson came free, but Arne Molin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Kaos & Oordning's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Häger came free, but Olov Lidberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vrigstad BF's Arne Molin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Bergqvist in the 80th minute of play. Melker Alkvist took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Molin. Arne Molin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Vrigstad BF made a substitution. Jan-Erik Rang replaced Jan Engström. The Vrigstad BF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
