Peder Anselius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Birger Olsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 55 minutes into the game, Torsten Jespersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svartå's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torparcanons IF the free kick. 56 minutes into the match, Svartå's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Holmgren came free, but Ture Hedvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Michael Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peder Anselius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Olsson having to interfere. Peder Anselius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Olsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peder Anselius got free with Birger Olsson in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Birger Olsson was a little too slow when Peder Anselius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-4. After 93 minutes, Olov Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torparcanons IF and the Svartå players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ture Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Jonasson in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Svartå could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Torparcanons IF throughout the match.
