The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Malcolm Morat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malcolm Morat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Olsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sven-Erik Nyberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match Edmund Wenerdahl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Erik Nyberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sven-Arne Åberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Billock's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Sven-Erik Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Hjortsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Qviky.App getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hans Hjortsberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Qviky.App's Ted Gulliksson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sven-Arne Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Johan Öberg in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Qviky.App got a freekick which was hit by Per Olsman. Elliott Hasselqvist struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Sven-Arne Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Wolfsburg. In the 29th minute, Malcolm Morat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Arne Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Morat in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Filip Billock managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Wolfsburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Billock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Arne Åberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malcolm Morat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Billock hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Hjortsberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Kjell Bivall ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 59 minutes, Malcolm Morat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Wolfsburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Morat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Malcolm Morat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sven-Arne Åberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Qviky.App's zone, Filip Billock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Arne Åberg came out of the goal and Filip Billock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Malcolm Morat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Morat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Åberg having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Per Olsman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qviky.App's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VfL Wolfsburg the free kick. Qviky.App's Fred Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VfL Wolfsburg were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
