Patrik Tomasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Fernkvist in the 3rd minute of the match. Patrik Tomasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Gniewek's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Rottneros's Karl-Johan Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, El Duderinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Michael Jakobsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Duderinos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rottneros the free kick. After 16 played minutes El Duderinos got a freekick which was hit by Michael Jakobsson. Patrik Tomasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Gniewek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Rottneros's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Vennersten came free, but Patrik Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Karlsson got free with Dennis Orioli in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dennis Orioli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Göransson in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Rottneros's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Fernkvist came free, but Patrik Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Roman Gniewek notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rottneros's Patrik Tomasson. Patrik Tomasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrik Tomasson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by El Duderinos's Jörgen Bergström. But to his dismay, Jörgen Bergström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 30th minute, Robert Fernkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Rudqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Orioli having to interfere. The supporters of El Duderinos booed when Rottneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Lång didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Fernkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Johan Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Rottneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Kiempe to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, El Duderinos's Robert Fernkvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Fernkvist was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rottneros's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Fernkvist came free, but Patrik Tomasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Robert Fernkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henric Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dennis Orioli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Johan Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Duderinos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Roman Gniewek hit a great ball. Rottneros's Patrik Tomasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Fernkvist in the 69th minute of play. Henric Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Orioli having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, El Duderinos's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Lindgren came free, but Dennis Orioli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match El Duderinos got a corner. Rottneros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Fernkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Rottneros defense, Roman Gniewek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Tomasson. The Rottneros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Tomasson should have stopped the shot. In the 88th match minute, El Duderinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Gniewek to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Johan Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of El Duderinos booed when Rottneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Grep didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Rottneros's much stronger midfield.
