After 4 minutes of play, Strömsnäsbruk's John Wiklund made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gert Bergqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Gert Bergqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Strömsnäsbruk's Filiph Örtendahl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the game, John Wiklund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gert Bergqvist. John Wiklund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Nils Larsfält kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Strömsnäsbruk's Joakim Gråberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gert Bergqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Ekebäck BK's goalkeeper Gert Bergqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egon Duset. When Hugo Bremming came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ekebäck BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Bremming couldn't finish the play. Strömsnäsbruk's Hugo Dalman got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute John Wiklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Strömsnäsbruk's John Wiklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gert Bergqvist. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. 45 minutes into the match, Filiph Örtendahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gert Bergqvist. Ekebäck BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiph Örtendahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Hugo Dalman made a precise shot to the right of Gert Bergqvist. Ekebäck BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Gert Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Örtendahl in the 57th minute of play. If John Wiklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Strömsnäsbruk booed when Ekebäck BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Larsfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Ekebäck BK's goal looked a bit too open when John Wiklund came free, but Gert Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Mikael Söderlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
