If Per-Oskar Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Lilja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Ahlroht having to interfere. Johan Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edwin Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Per-Oskar Olofsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henning Josefsson having to make a save. In the 41st minute Per-Oskar Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Per-Oskar Olofsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Freij fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vilgot Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vilgot Biörnberg made the kick off in the second half. Vilgot Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, Siesta Key FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. Felix Wennerberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henning Josefsson. Siesta Key FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Siesta Key FC's Henning Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Biörnberg in the 74th minute of play. Peter Wennerström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Per-Oskar Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The referee ignored Siesta Key FC's protests and gave Peter Wennerström a yellow card for diving instead.
