The referee ignored Överhörnäs BK's protests and gave Andréas Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. Andréas Håkansson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Dag Överman's late challenge caught a Överhörnäs BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Wiklund having to interfere. Robert Britz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Peter Wiklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf Malm got a throw-in 33 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Krister Ström. After 37 played minutes Orsa Sturfajters got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Malm. Överhörnäs BK's Robert Britz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Överhörnäs BK's Karl-Magnus Hökkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Wiklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

51 minutes into the match, Orsa Sturfajters's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Hökkvist came free, but Peter Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Orsa Sturfajters's Krister Ström got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Överhörnäs BK's David Grep quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alexander Klint, made in the 57th minute of the game. Robert Britz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Robert Britz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Wiklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Peter Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Britz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Ulf Sörman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Robert Britz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ralf Malm in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Överhörnäs BK's David Grep. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Robert Britz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Överhörnäs BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Britz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Wiklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Överhörnäs BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
