In the 10th minute Stellan Bolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Löfskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Robert Klint got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Stellan Bolin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Löfskog. Kosova REP.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stellan Bolin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Frövägen Hotspurs's Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Klint in the 19th minute of play. Egil Löfskog stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stellan Bolin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Egil Löfskog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Alström in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, André Alström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Löfskog was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Stellan Bolin notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kosova REP.'s Egil Löfskog. Egil Löfskog was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Stellan Bolin came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Frövägen Hotspurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stellan Bolin couldn't finish the play. Stellan Bolin scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egil Löfskog, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Alexander Olofsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt. Frövägen Hotspurs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Olofsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Klint was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stellan Bolin in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egil Löfskog saved Kosova REP. from getting behind. Karl-Axel Bergkvist hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Frövägen Hotspurs's Karl-Axel Bergkvist got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Alexander Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Kosova REP.'s goal looked a bit too open when André Alström came free, but Egil Löfskog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kosova REP.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when André Alström scored to the left of an out of position Egil Löfskog, making the score, 1-6. Stellan Bolin's late challenge caught a Kosova REP.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stellan Bolin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frövägen Hotspurs's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl-Axel Brask kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Kosova REP.'s Alexander Olofsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Valdemar Beckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ola Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Egil Löfskog acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Everardo Uzuri. Valdemar Beckström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kosova REP.'s Urban Hamberg got a free kick in the 96th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Stellan Bolin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frövägen Hotspurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Stellan Bolin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Löfskog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
