Herman Nyström came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt could save by the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Sakumo's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Bolin came free, but Arne Rolandsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Kellman got free with Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sakumo booed when Frövägen Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Bergkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Rolandsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stellan Bolin's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Olof Åberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sakumo's Arne Rolandsson. Arne Rolandsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Frövägen Hotspurs's Everardo Uzuri seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Everardo Uzuri the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Frövägen Hotspurs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Everardo Uzuri had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Frövägen Hotspurs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt, was totally fooled by Sakumo's Mats Åhlberg, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

A collision led to Frövägen Hotspurs getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Valdemar Beckström hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdemar Beckström got free with Arne Rolandsson in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Tunberg in the 68th minute of play forced Frövägen Hotspurs's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Frövägen Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Linqvist. Valdemar Beckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Rolandsson having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Bengt Kellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Tunberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sven-Åke Qvalfeldt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
