In the 46th minute of the match, Christopher Jonsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kjellbom was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Stensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kjellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Jonsson in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Björn Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suicidal Tryhards's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The attack was good, but when Patrik Nordström in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
