Linus Lindberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonathan Örtendahl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sakumo's zone, Edgar Odén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Rolandsson came out of the goal and Edgar Odén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Magnus Qvarnström charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Magnus Qvarnström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Östansjö's Karl-Magnus Qvarnström got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Bengt Kellman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Östansjö's Linus Lindberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olov Kellman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Arne Rolandsson made a huge save. Arne Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Qvarnström in the 57th minute of play. Arne Rolandsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Nyström in the 63rd minute of play forced Östansjö's goalkeeper Linus Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats Åhlberg struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Linus Lindberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakumo. A collision led to Östansjö getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Göran Jonsson hit a great ball. Arne Rolandsson made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Edgar Odén sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sakumo booed when Östansjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Åhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Magnus Qvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Magnus Qvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Rolandsson having to interfere. If Karl-Magnus Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sakumo's Arne Rolandsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Sakumo from getting a goal against them.
