Gunnar Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Sjögren in the 23rd minute of play. Ludvig Nilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmie Fogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Ammarnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Löfdahl to maneuver through the defense. Rickard Åkesson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Ludvig Nilsson, was totally fooled by Nils Liedholm IF's Martin Söderkvist, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Nils Liedholm IF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jimmie Fogel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ammarnäs IF's Nicklas Möller got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Nils Liedholm IF defense, Stig-Arne Björkqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Wallander. The Nils Liedholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Wallander should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicklas Möller was the one to do the kick off. Leif Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Nils Liedholm IF's Rune Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludvig Nilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmie Fogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Wallander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Ammarnäs IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
