A collision led to Glanshammar getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Elias Lund hit a great ball. After 5 minutes, Magnus Hermansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glanshammar and the Knislinge FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Glanshammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knislinge FF's goalkeeper Maximilian Söderberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jerry Täman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Rosin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Glanshammar's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Dahlberg came free, but Jerry Täman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Falkrantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maximilian Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sören Melberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Hydén in the 17th minute of play forced Glanshammar's goalkeeper Jerry Täman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Klas Lindholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerry Täman. Glanshammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klas Lindholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Glanshammar's Åke Ahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Eric Hydén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Täman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Falkrantz during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Glanshammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Falkrantz to maneuver through the defense. Glanshammar's Jerry Täman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Hydén in the 35th minute of play. Jerry Täman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Hydén's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Anders Ekrot kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Falkrantz to make the kick off. Glanshammar's Jerry Täman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Glanshammar from getting a goal against them. If Elias Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Glanshammar booed when Knislinge FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klas Lindholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jerry Täman made a huge save. Jerry Täman was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Inge Dahlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Inge Dahlberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 78th minute, Sören Melberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th play minute Klas Lindholm came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jerry Täman. 1-5. Jerry Täman was a little too slow when Eric Hydén got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-6. After 87 minutes of play Glanshammar's Jonas Falkrantz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 89th minute, Knislinge FF's Inge Dahlberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inge Dahlberg in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerry Täman saved Glanshammar from getting behind. When Magnus Hermansson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played.
