Genarp FK's Evert Eskilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Hermansson in the 4th minute of play. Evert Eskilsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Sixten Cane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Eskilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo-Erik Carlsson in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Hermansson in the 17th minute of play forced Genarp FK's goalkeeper Evert Eskilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Jörn Hermansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evert Eskilsson. The goal made the score 1-0. Jens-Åke Bern's late challenge caught a Genarp FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Åke Bern helped the player get up and apologised. Jens-Åke Bern hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Evert Eskilsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo-Erik Carlsson in the 28th minute. Genarp FK's Eddie Hedlund suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Genarp FK booed when Teckomatorp RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gustaf Biörkquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Bo-Erik Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Brask in the 39th minute of play forced Genarp FK's goalkeeper Evert Eskilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Isak Ferm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörn Hermansson made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Biörkquist in the 51st minute of play forced Teckomatorp RK's goalkeeper Agne Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Teckomatorp RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Bern to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 53rd minute, when Genarp FK's Mattias Blomberg after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Agne Eklund in Teckomatorp RK's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Mattias Blomberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaf Biörkquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agne Eklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaf Biörkquist ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaf Biörkquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Gustaf Biörkquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genarp FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Biörkquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ottó Nyitrai in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Agne Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 69 minutes into the game, Teckomatorp RK's Jörn Hermansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Eskilsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jörn Hermansson took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evert Eskilsson. Evert Eskilsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ottó Nyitrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Genarp FK's Edvin Blom quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kent Simonsson, made in the 84th minute of the game. Agne Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Greger Mager in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Greger Mager lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Agne Eklund. After 94th play minutes Ottó Nyitrai shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Agne Eklund and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Teckomatorp RK could leave the field as winners, despite Genarp FK having more of the ball for most of the match.
