Haparanda FF's Alberigo Costantino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vural Sadri in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Kanaryalar's Alvar Aspengren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberigo Costantino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kanaryalar were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Haparanda FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vural Sadri took the corner. The corner led to Kanaryalar's Mikael Vikström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Kanaryalar booed when Haparanda FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberigo Costantino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Aspengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sixten Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Haparanda FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixten Högberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vural Sadri in the 25th minute of play forced Haparanda FF's goalkeeper Alberigo Costantino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Vural Sadri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haparanda FF's Alberigo Costantino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Haparanda FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Aspengren came free, but Alberigo Costantino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vural Sadri in the 36th minute of play forced Haparanda FF's goalkeeper Alberigo Costantino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Kanaryalar's Vural Sadri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberigo Costantino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 42 minutes into the game, Leonard Blomqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alberigo Costantino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberigo Costantino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Aspengren in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Vural Sadri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberigo Costantino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Blomqvist to make the kick off. Alberigo Costantino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Sundberg in the 64th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Kanaryalar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Kanaryalar's Vural Sadri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberigo Costantino. That made the score 0-6 after 82 minutes of play. Alberigo Costantino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vural Sadri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Haparanda FF's Alberigo Costantino got control of the ball when Leonard Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Haparanda FF got a freekick which was hit by Pär Engström. In the 97th minute Alvar Aspengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Costantino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kanaryalar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
