Zé Roberto Cavalcante took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Blomkvist. Tommy Blomkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Mattias Strandberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Ohlsson's Tommy Blomkvist. Tommy Blomkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Ohlsson's Carter Piccone suffered a concussion in the 10th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 10 minutes into the game, Paul Örn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Man United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Ohlsson the free kick. 12 minutes into the match, Man United's goalkeeper Herbert Thorsberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Ove Svartengren. In the 15th minute of the match Man United got a corner. Club Ohlsson's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Falk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Herbert Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Svartengren in the 16th minute of play. Tommy Blomkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Lundblad went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jens-Ove Svartengren hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Club Ohlsson's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Cavalcante came free, but Tommy Blomkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Club Ohlsson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Lindström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Cavalcante in the 24th minute of play forced Club Ohlsson's goalkeeper Tommy Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Strandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Man United's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Fernkvist came free, but Herbert Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alberto Fero came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Club Ohlsson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Fero couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Thomas Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Falk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Ove Svartengren charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Ove Svartengren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jens-Ove Svartengren kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Svartengren to make the kick off. Man United's Mattias Strandberg pulled a muscle in his leg after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rodolfo Cordarrell's late challenge caught a Man United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Cordarrell helped the player get up and apologised. Man United made a substitution. Daniel Ahlkvist replaced Mattias Strandberg. In the 52nd minute, Rodolfo Cordarrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Man United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Pil to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Thorsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Fero in the 58th minute of the match. Tommy Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Ahlkvist in the 62nd minute of play. Tommy Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Daniel Ahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ove Svartengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Thorsberg having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Thomas Falk took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Tommy Blomkvist to make any attempt to save it. Tommy Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Ahlkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tommy Blomkvist was a little too slow when Zé Roberto Cavalcante got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-6. Alberto Fero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Thorsberg having to interfere. When Alberto Fero came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Club Ohlsson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Fero couldn't finish the play. The Club Ohlsson fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Man United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
