Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hjalmar Ekelund to make the kick off. The referee ignored IFK Vinkel's protests and gave Gunnar Nyman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Gunnar Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingmar Wästerberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to IFK Vinkel getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ingmar Wästerberg hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Sven Wallin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Vinkel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bispmotala BK the free kick. IFK Vinkel's Carl Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Gråberg in the 85th minute of play. When Bertil Sefastsson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the IFK Vinkel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Sefastsson couldn't finish the play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Sven Gudmundsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bispmotala BK's Svante Fristedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the game, IFK Vinkel's Sven Gudmundsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Svante Fristedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The IFK Vinkel supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing IFK Vinkel would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
