Michael Nordström took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calle Malmberg. Calle Malmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Niclas Vennerdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Wennerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Alfredo Massimini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calle Malmberg. IFK Vinkel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Massimini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 30th minute, Ivar Persson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31st play minutes Leif Holm shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Calle Malmberg and just under the crossbar into goal. Bror Sandberg made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Viktor Wall immediately put the ball in play. If Ivar Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivar Persson might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calle Malmberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Persson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Ivar Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Malmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Nordström in the 41st minute of the match. When Håkan Forsberg fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Vinkel's protests and gave Håkan Forsberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes IFK Vinkel got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Forsberg. In the 43rd minute of the match Karl Kinell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calle Malmberg skillfully saved the ball. Michael Nordström struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Calle Malmberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kolsva FK. Calle Malmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

IFK Vinkel's Tobias Bålström was substituted for Jim Stephansson. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell-Arne Wennerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to IFK Vinkel getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fred Lange hit a great ball. Folke Grelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvar Jakobsson made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kolsva FK's Folke Grelsson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivar Persson got free with Calle Malmberg in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Kjell-Arne Wennerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Vinkel's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Wennerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Vennerdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. IFK Vinkel's Karl-Erik Askstedt was substituted for Per Lindkvist. In the 72nd minute, Kolsva FK's Ivar Persson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Calle Malmberg. Calle Malmberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. IFK Vinkel's Calle Malmberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Vinkel from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Vinkel's goalkeeper Calle Malmberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, IFK Vinkel's Calle Malmberg got control of the ball when Ivar Persson tried to sneak it across the goal line. IFK Vinkel's Wilhelm Wallgren was substituted for Viktor Wall. Ivar Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calle Malmberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Calle Malmberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Persson in the 89th minute. Niclas Vennerdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Wennerberg in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Ivar Persson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ivar Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolsva FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Persson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Malmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kolsva FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
