In the 10th minute, Harry Skager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Karl-Ove Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hortlax FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Ove Ekström couldn't finish the play. Inge Wahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sten Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Wahlström in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Inge Wahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Hortlax FC's Filip Åhman got control of the ball when Emanuel Löfskog tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Golf United's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Wahlström came free, but Sten Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Hampus Bocklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Wahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Daniel Groth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29thth minute of the game Inge Wahlström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golf United's Sten Josefsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sten Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Domenghini in the 30th minute of the match. Golf United's Sten Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Jonasson in the 32nd minute of play. Golf United's Oskar Lundgren suffered a sore thigh after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 38 minutes, Inge Wahlström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hortlax FC and the Golf United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Hortlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Inge Wahlström. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inge Wahlström in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Josefsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel Fågel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Åhman having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Karl-Ove Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Hortlax FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inge Wahlström was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Hampus Bocklund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 60 minutes in the game, Inge Wahlström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sten Josefsson having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Hampus Bocklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Hortlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Löfskog came free, but Filip Åhman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Golf United's August Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Karl-Ove Ekström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Josefsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute Inge Wahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Wahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hampus Bocklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the match, Hortlax FC's Hampus Bocklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Josefsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Hortlax FC's Inge Wahlström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sten Josefsson. Sten Josefsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 80th minute Emanuel Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Åhman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hampus Bocklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Carmine Domenghini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hortlax FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Domenghini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Josefsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Charlie Hydén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Inge Wahlström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sten Josefsson. Inge Wahlström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 91st minute Carmine Domenghini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Hortlax FC's Hampus Bocklund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. When the match was over Hortlax FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Golf United throughout the match.
