Karl-Johan Ahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Odén in the 3rd minute of the match. If Kalle Walroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Odén in the 8th minute of play forced FC Raven Saints's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Raven Saints getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kevin Ersman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marbäcks FF's zone, Jens-Erik Rydberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theagenis Vavatsikos came out of the goal and Jens-Erik Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helge Wallman charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Wallman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Helge Wallman hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Jonas Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marbäcks FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Lindberg in the 20th minute of play. Theagenis Vavatsikos was a little too slow when Jens-Erik Rydberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 27th minute Marbäcks FF were awarded a corner. Helge Wallman went to the cornerflag to take it. Karl-Johan Ahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Odén in the 29th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Kalle Walroth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Raven Saints and the Marbäcks FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Marbäcks FF booed when FC Raven Saints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theagenis Vavatsikos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Patrik Odén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marbäcks FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Odén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Ahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Marbäcks FF's Nils Karlstedt got a free kick in the 37th minute. Nils Karlstedt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Tobias Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Marbäcks FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Walroth came free, but Theagenis Vavatsikos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Raven Saints getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Erik Backman hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Thanks to some nice moves Bengt-Åke Lindberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Karl-Johan Ahlbom however easily saved by the left post. Bengt-Åke Lindberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl-Johan Ahlbom could save by the left post. 61 minutes into the match, FC Raven Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Göransson came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Ragnar Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marbäcks FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Raven Saints the free kick. Ragnar Fransson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Vilhelm Svanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theagenis Vavatsikos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Fagerberg during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erik Fagerberg hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Jonas Petersson took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Johan Ahlbom. Karl-Johan Ahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Marbäcks FF's Agne Lindell got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Patrik Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Patrik Odén notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom. Karl-Johan Ahlbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrik Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Karl-Johan Ahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, FC Raven Saints's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Helge Wallman. When Kalle Walroth was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Kalle Walroth kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Vilhelm Svanström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, FC Raven Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Åke Bryngelsson to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Odén in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlbom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 95thth minute of the game Patrik Odén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
