The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ralf Jönsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Boström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Olov Boström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulryk Tuliszewski went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Olov Boström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Boström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Jönsson's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 39th play minutes Ulryk Tuliszewski shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Olov Boström and just under the crossbar into goal. After 42 played minutes Undersåker FF got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Lundgren. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Amanda Rubensson was slow to take the kick. During this time Undersåker FF's players had a chance to rest. After 91 played minutes Undersåker FF got a freekick which was hit by Amanda Rubensson. When the final whistle sounded Undersåker FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Umeå FC.
