Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) West ham united's Arne Söderqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Brander during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Kärrgruvan IF got a freekick which was hit by Axel Brander. When Sven-Ove Helberg came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Kärrgruvan IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Ove Helberg couldn't finish the play. Kärrgruvan IF's Joseph Alrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Branco in the 7th minute of play. Abdelmalek Boulebda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joseph Alrot came out and tried to block the shot, but Abdelmalek Boulebda slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Claes Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Helberg in the 19th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as West ham united's Laurenz Van Hove slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joseph Alrot. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kärrgruvan IF's zone, Joakim Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Alrot came out of the goal and Joakim Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joseph Alrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurenz Van Hove in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Laurenz Van Hove fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joseph Alrot, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as West ham united's Arne Söderqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joseph Alrot. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play.

56 minutes into the match, Gustavo Branco notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Kärrgruvan IF's Joseph Alrot. Joseph Alrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, West ham united's Lucas Lundblad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseph Alrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Kärrgruvan IF's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Björklund came free, but Joseph Alrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Alrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Söderqvist in the 62nd minute of play. Joseph Alrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmalek Boulebda in the 64th minute of the match. Joseph Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurenz Van Hove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Björklund in the 72nd minute of play forced Kärrgruvan IF's goalkeeper Joseph Alrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Alrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurenz Van Hove in the 76th minute of play. Joseph Alrot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Söderqvist's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, West ham united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Björklund to maneuver through the defense. Joseph Alrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurenz Van Hove went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. West ham united's Joakim Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joseph Alrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Söderqvist in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Kärrgruvan IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Branco came free, but Joseph Alrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Axel Brander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Magnusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. When the referee ended the match the West ham united players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
