Martin Jelm came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Solna Replicants's Östen Bodin. But to his dismay, Östen Bodin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Algot Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Jelm having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Östen Bodin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solna Replicants's supporters crossed their fingers, but Östen Bodin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils-Åke Åkesson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Dan Colin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Colin in the 13th minute of the match. Algot Hansson took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Jelm. Martin Jelm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Solna Replicants fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Solna Replicants's Algot Hansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Algot Hansson in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Jelm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils-Erik Olofsson charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Erik Olofsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Åke Wallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Dan Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rolf Hård fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue Devils FC's protests and gave Rolf Hård a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Blue Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Hård. Martin Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Bodin in the 37th minute of the match. After the first half Solna Replicants were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Örtendal to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Algot Hansson took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Martin Jelm to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Algot Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solna Replicants's supporters rose to their feet, but Algot Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Jelm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blue Devils FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Algot Hansson 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. After 64 played minutes Solna Replicants got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Frykberg. Solna Replicants's Ingemar Jonsson was substituted for Östen Bodin. A collision led to Solna Replicants getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Lukas Frykberg hit a great ball. Martin Jelm was a little too slow when Algot Hansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-6. Solna Replicants's Ingemar Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Solna Replicants's Algot Hansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Jelm. Martin Jelm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Algot Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Solna Replicants's Paul Runberg was substituted for Algot Hansson. In the 88th minute, Isac Åhman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Lindqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Blue Devils FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ingemar Jonsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 98 minutes into the match, Ingemar Jonsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Jelm, 0-8. Solna Replicants played a much better game than Blue Devils FC and deserved their victory. The Blue Devils FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
