Alf Felin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Balders Hage IF's Nils Asklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evert Ahlén. Evert Ahlén yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Rosendahl came free, but Eric Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Vejbystrand's Edvard Jakobsson. But to his dismay, Edvard Jakobsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Evert Ahlén made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Sigvard Brask sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Roy Rosendahl notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson. Eric Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Jakobsson in the 36th minute of play. Eric Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Rosendahl in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Vejbystrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutger Vallmark to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roy Rosendahl during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Roy Rosendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vejbystrand's Evert Ahlén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Vejbystrand from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Jakobsson in the 47th minute of play forced Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Brask to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Edvard Jakobsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eric Fredriksson. The goal made the score 2-3. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Roy Rosendahl got a free kick in the 54th minute. Radowit Zerde hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Eric Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Rosendahl in the 58th minute. Balders Hage IF's Eric Fredriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Balders Hage IF from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Sigvard Brask had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Ahlén. Vejbystrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sigvard Brask was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The supporters of Vejbystrand booed when Balders Hage IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Ahlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Eric Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Jakobsson in the 68th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Balders Hage IF got a freekick which was hit by Simon Sjöberg. After a defensive mix-up in Balders Hage IF's zone, Jim Fernström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Fredriksson came out of the goal and Jim Fernström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Jakobsson in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Erik Carlsson got free with Eric Fredriksson in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 played minutes Balders Hage IF got a freekick which was hit by Valter Volberg. Vejbystrand's Evert Ahlén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Asklund in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigvard Brask in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Ahlén saved Vejbystrand from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goalkeeper Eric Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Erik Carlsson. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vejbystrand players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
