The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Erland Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match, Camilo Francho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yngve Ödman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. BENA FK's Ronny Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Låsberg in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Kerkûk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fedai Oktan came free, but Yngve Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes Kerkûk FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anthon Åström who took care of the corner kick. Isaac Kilberg hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Mattias Ahlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ronny Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Ahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Sundström having to interfere. In the 26th minute Mattias Ahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fedai Oktan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yngve Ödman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. BENA FK's Ronny Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Ahlman in the 34th minute of play. Kerkûk FC's attentive Sören Vennerkvist managed to snatch the ball when Altuğ Ortunc made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. After 39 played minutes Kerkûk FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Låsberg. With an all-out effort, BENA FK's Yngve Ödman threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fedai Oktan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the game, BENA FK's Fedai Oktan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yngve Ödman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to BENA FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eskil Billock hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Låsberg came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaj Låsberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Hammarbäck during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kerkûk FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Valentin Hammarbäck hit a great ball. BENA FK's Zachary Anszczak was substituted for Fedai Oktan. Yngve Ödman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Francho in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute BENA FK were awarded a corner. Anthon Åström went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Kilberg in the 71st minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Ronny Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Camilo Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Ödman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Sundström made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Felix Pååk sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, BENA FK's Ronny Sundström got control of the ball when Kaj Låsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes Kerkûk FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anthon Åström who took care of the corner kick. Ronny Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, Kerkûk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Kilberg to maneuver through the defense. Kaj Låsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Sundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Kaj Låsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Sundström. BENA FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaj Låsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Kerkûk FC were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after BENA FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilbert Bobrowski took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gilbert Bobrowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronny Sundström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gilbert Bobrowski got in the 94th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Ronny Sundström. This was a shot which ended in a score of 3-3. The Kerkûk FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented BENA FK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
