Sumpan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sverker Vacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sumpan FC's Agne Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taco Oldenborger in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Sumpan FC's Agne Målare got control of the ball when Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hong in the 39th minute of play forced Sumpan FC's goalkeeper Agne Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taco Oldenborger hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Thedin came free, but Patrik Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Ryttartorpets FF got a freekick which was hit by Taco Oldenborger.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Rune Dahlman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Gottfrid Backlund made a precise shot to the right of Agne Målare. Sumpan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Sumpan FC's Bengt-Rune Dahlman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrik Linqvist. That made the score 1-1 after 68 minutes of play. Agne Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agne Målare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hong went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 95th match minute, Ryttartorpets FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taco Oldenborger to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Martinelli in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agne Målare saved Sumpan FC from getting behind.
