When Storfors AIK's Jim Beneth in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scruffy Nerfherders's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jim Beneth sped through Scruffy Nerfherders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olov Andreasson. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Jakob Bäckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jim Beneth scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Andreasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kent Lenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Andreasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Kent Lenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Andreasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Lenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scruffy Nerfherders's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pablo Lizzio was slow to take the kick. During this time Storfors AIK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Storfors AIK's Pablo Lizzio to fire away a dangerous shot which Olov Andreasson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jim Beneth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olov Andreasson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Jim Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Andreasson having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Jim Beneth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storfors AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Beneth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Kent Lenberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scruffy Nerfherders's Olov Andreasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Scruffy Nerfherders's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Beneth came free, but Olov Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Beneth in the 46th minute of play. The Scruffy Nerfherders players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Storfors AIK were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig-Åke Kellman made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Storfors AIK's David Bergman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olov Andreasson. Olov Andreasson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Benett in the 60th minute of play forced Storfors AIK's goalkeeper Akram Amgad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Lenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Kent Lenberg sped through Scruffy Nerfherders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olov Andreasson. Kent Lenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Olov Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. From close distance Kent Lenberg pressed in the 0-7 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 68 minutes into the game. 73 minutes into the match, Scruffy Nerfherders's goalkeeper Olov Andreasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Bergman. Jim Beneth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim Beneth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Beneth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Olov Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akram Amgad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Olsson in the 97th minute of the match. Storfors AIK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
